Entrants agree to abide by the rules of competition as
published and as may be amended from time to time by the organisers.

Entrants must
be aged 18 or over

Entries are restricted to unsigned bands (not currently
contracted to recording companies for recording or distribution deals).

Judges decision in all cases is final. NO correspondence will
be entered into.

Entry fee of R 200 per act
applies - deposit slip needs to be attached to the entry form.

Please note this is a live music event. No backing tracks
allowed. No exceptions.

All artists will be required to give a performance to consist
of three (3) songs only. One song MUST be an original work.

All entrants give permission for a recording of their original
song to be included on a commemorative CD.

Winners agree to play one complementary gig in favour of the
sponsors at a time and venue to be agreed with sponsors.

Certain backline equipment/instruments to be provided by
organisers at Prelim Nights and Finals Evening In the interest of parily all
artists will be required to use this equipment.

Outside of the equipment referred to above all artists are
required to provide their own instruments.

Artists will be required to attend meetings and sound checks
at times to be made known to them by the organisers. Failure to attend these
meetings/sound checks may result in disqualification.

Failure to comply with the Rules of Entry may result in disqualification at
the discretion of the organisers Kei Apple.
